You know, I debated long and hard about whether this was worth saying, but I figure it's inevitable. You're going to find this out. There's no particular use hiding it from my allies.

A number of my enemies have made their way into the City in these last few weeks. Specifically, imports #24405589, #24392952, and #24130439. These individuals hate me indiscriminately. Not for what I do, oh no. They hate me for what I am.

You see, I am a Cybernetic Lifeform Node, otherwise known as a Cylon. A sentient machine. And they don't take very kindly to "sentient machines," where I come from, and that's a bit of an issue.

I apologize if this comes as a surprise. For most of you, I'm sure it does. But I trust you can understand why I felt the need to contain the information. If you see any of those three speaking about me, any of them filtering conversations against me or otherwise, I'd prefer if you came to me. Not an unreasonable demand, is it?

How is my fair City this evening? I notice it's been some time since we've been plunged into chaos. I'd ask all of you when you think the next disaster will be, but I wouldn't want to give the wrong idea. Thankfully, I've been comparatively fortunate when it comes to those calamities. I haven't had much to worry about.

Is that something you'd consider yourself? Fortunate?
