So I was wondering, my fellow imports, if there's been any progress on the apprehension of my murderer.

[Silence.]

Uh-huh. Uh-huh.

[Another silence. He breathes through his teeth.]

What's that, you say? No?

No progress at all!? [Beat. Calmer:] Well, then. Isn't that curious.

I shouldn't be surprised, all things considered. You probably know where he is but don't want to divulge it just yet, don't want to suffer through throwing one of your own into this dreadful, dreadful facility, this super-prison. The herd behavior is cute, really, but one day, I'm afraid it's going to cost you. But I could be wrong. Maybe you don't know. Maybe you're all too busy folding to the whims of our benevolent god to even give a frak about the death of some poor, old machine. Too caught up in your own prison.

Which reminds me. I address this to all of you, not just my captors:

The vast majority of you going about this the wrong way, my friends. I am not your enemy.

One day, perhaps you'll be lucky to pick up on it.

Because it's either you or Kiryu, and I get the feeling you're a little more likely to give. Have the police questioned you yet? I'd be surprised if they haven't.

Shyeah, not quite. I'm not that easy. Oh, they have. Totally. Came over here, searched the apartment, found nothing. I gave them a statement. And the evidence from that encounter. And you know what? I don't care if you know because you already saw my face - I can't make myself more of a target so why not say that I'm going to be the reason you go down for good?
