[Static and popping. That is the first thing to come from this new comm, followed by beeps and boops that only come from a robot. And with those beeps and boops comes a flat, very slightly nasally mechanical voice. The voice does not seem to notices their comm is on.]
SCANNING...COORDINATES UNKNOWN. ANOMALIES DETECTED WITHIN A TEN MILE RADIUS. ANOMALY NATURE: UNKNOWN.

[Then came another beep, followed by a static hiss. Whether it was the communicator of the droning voice, is unknown. However, there is a change in the robots voice as he speaks again. He sounds...almost insulted.]
LARGE OVERLANDER PRESENCE DETECTED. THE ENERGY OUTPUT IS BEYOND KNOWN LEVELS...
[A pause, followed some whirring sounds.]
...MY SCHEMATICS HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO FIT AN OVERLANDER PROFILE.
UNACCEPTABLE. LORD ROBOTNIK WILL NOT BE PLEASED TO HEAR ABOUT THIS. I MUST DEBATE MY OPTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING!
INITIATING INTERNAL DATA SEARCH FOR OPTIONS...
[There is a moment of silence, as if the comm had been turned off without a second thought. However, the silence is broken by static and a long beeping sound which indicates some kind of process being done - and then, finally, picture. The video has been activated, and in the screen there is only a glowing red pupil staring at the screen under what looks to be a blue and grey helmet. There is no emotion in the eye.
The mechanical voice speaks again with a hint of smugness evident even under the artificiality of the tone.]
CITIZENS. YOU HAVE ONE HOUR TO GIVE YOURSELVES UP FOR RELOCATION TO THE CITY OF ROBOTROPOLIS. IF YOU DO NOT COMPLY YOU AND YOUR CITY WILL BE LIQUIDATED. THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY WARNING.
