I know there are people here who have experience with being... subverted, brainwashed, controlled, whatever you call it. Having your actions influenced by something outside of your control. I'd like to know how you deal with something like that, after the influence is gone. I know it's a very personal question, but this is something I don't know much about. I'd appreciate any information.

POLICE FILTER

I'm putting in a requisition for armor-piercing ammunition. The next time I have to deal with mechanical hostiles, I don't want it to be that hard. I'm also gonna need some repairs done to the car.

S.T.A.R.S, for those of you who don't know yet, we have a new member. I'm going to be running a group training exercise sometime soon so we can work on our coordination; I was thinking about renting some time at a paintball place and going through some scenarios there. Yeah, I did and it wasn't pretty. He...certainly made an impression and I cross dress if it's mission specific. Don't laugh.

As well as I'll ever be. He cut my leg above the knee and I had to get some work done on the collateral ligaments, left side, left knee. I'll be benched at least six weeks.

You were right. He's a maniac and he's a murdering psychopath. He still thinks I'm a beat cop native so that's good.

Six weeks? Damn, that means you'll probably miss training, unless you're able to show up as an observer.

He gives me a literal headache but the funny part about it all during my encounter with him was that he has this way of....throwing off abilities. I missed several times when I fired on him. My senses were dulled and I was dizzy. It's like.....I had a nullification collar on.

Don't push yourself too hard, Sheldon, you're no good to us if you mess up your recovery.

Being able to interfere with other people's abilities would explain a lot about how he's been able to operate for so long. I'm going to check to see if there are any reports of ImPorts experiencing similar effects against him.

Who said anything about pushing too hard? Tell you what, I'll be the ref. I already know I'll win it. It'll be unfair to those that need it, right?

You know, The Joker didn't really scare the crap out of me but he certainly did have me on my toes. It's hard to predict him especially when abilities that require the use of brainpower is hindered, he's hard to beat.

I shot him. That's when he fled. Jack, I'm telling ya, he's no joke. He killed an entire busload of people just because he can.

Honestly Sheldon, I haven't dealt with anything like him before. No ideology, no cause, he doesn't even care about money. It's hard to read him. It's good you put a bullet in him though, that could give us a few ways to track him.

Good. I'll be willing to submit my gun for a forensics test if it's necessary.
