[01]- Arrival [VIDEO]
[The video flickers on and shows a woman with curly brown hair and she is clearly upset and a little bit in shock from her arrival. Such a big change so quickly is a little traumatic for her and she'd like to get to the bottom of it. She's incredibly shy, though so it takes her a while. She fidgets with the sling on her arm and takes a few deep breaths before she finally gathers her thoughts enough to speak her mind.]
Hello. I am...My name is Bennett Halverson and I...I'm from Washington, D.C. Which this clearly is not.
This place is...unfamiliar and whatever that machine says, I'm not a hero. Not a hero. I'm not super, not really.
[She sighs and finds it hard to look at the camera. Even though she just admitted she's not a hero, it should be pretty obvious she's not really a villain either.]
And...I have a job. A very, very important job back home, highly specialized and I can't miss work. There's things I need to accomplish. Things that need to be done. And only I can do them. Well, that's not true, I'm sure there's plenty but I enjoy my work and I like to keep busy with it so I...
[It takes her a lot of courage to say the next line so she visibly stiffens a little. She tries to make herself look a little more intimidating but that's sort of hard for a super nerd with a dead arm.]
It would be...highly advised that someone show me the way to get back home. Immediate action would be preferable.
[Bennett makes a slightly panicked look before she quickly shuts off the video. She's fairly certain she just made an ass of herself and is going to get herself murdered now. Thank you, paranoia!]

Topher Brink is also here. And Alpha. You should stay away from the both of them.
[voice]
Topher Brink? Considering what happened the last time I saw him, staying away shouldn't be much of a problem.
[voice]
He's violating his contract by selling Rossum tech. What happened the last time you saw him?
[voice]
Selling Rossum tech? That's very not good, not good at all. Isn't he afraid someone will find out? He'd be killed. Or sent to the Attic.
We had a disagreement. He attacked, he assaulted me in my own lab. Knocked me out. He hurt me.
Re: [voice]
He deserves it. The attic. I have...an imprint. Of the Rossum CEO. He's certainly not pleased.
Did he? Odd.
[voice]
Was it not supposed to happen like that....? Why is this odd?
[voice]
I just didn't expect that sort of thing from him. I'm not sure why.
[voice]
While I still admire him on an intellectual level, he is not a good person.
...Not that I can really talk about good and bad but...
[voice]
He tried to put a script in my head to keep me docile against his new employer.
[voice]
He still shouldn't be sharing company secrets. Nothing good will come of that. Someone will find out. They always find out.
Re: [voice]
As I said, I have a partial imprint of the CEO of Rossum. He isn't entirely happy with him.

And gaining a conscious is the last thing Caroline--Echo needs.
[voice]
Why is that?
[voice]
[This is clearly a touchy subject.]
It's not good. She's not good.
