[There's lots of laughter from the toxin victims, and the typical sounds of people fighting. Cap's voice breaks in, strong and determined.]

If anyone has information on the location of the Joker, feel free to chime in at any time.

[A loud metal clang is heard and a rushing of wind.]

There has to be a pattern. Have to be a trail or something. No one is this random.

[Someone screams, as another rush of air whistles loudly. Cap grunts as a window is broken around him. His voice is quiet when it's heard again.]

Damn. Bucky, Namor: I could really use the Invaders right about now.

[ooc: I have a reason for calling for the Invaders instead of the Avengers.]

_{[Namor laughs, punting a thug into a cafe across the street.]}

[headbutts one of the clowns to the ground before picking up the metal shield.]

I just don't want to have to dodge falling buildings while trying to fight.

_{[ He rolls his eyes and pointedly knocks a thug a foot into the concrete in front of Steve. ]}

[sighs, but it's better than the buildings falling on his head]

[kicks one of the clowns in the stomach before batting him away.]

Have you seen Bucky at all since this mess started?

Briefly, but then again -- _{[ He looks over to where Bucky is approaching, letting out a laugh ]} -- Nevermind. The boy obviously found us before I could make the joke.

[Can't help the large grin on his face.]

When I called for the Invaders, I honestly didn't think I'd work. Glad I could be proven wrong.

_{[ He grabs another thug and TOSSES him to the next block ]}

As long as it's simply for the Invaders, who are we to deny the call?

[bats a few more thugs away from him before making sure one of them doesn't hurt an innocent who hadn't run for his life yet.]

The Avengers aren't ready for team playing yet. Plus...

[throws a thug towards Namor]

This sort of thing, just screamed Invaders.

_{[ There's this sickening little CRACKING noise that echoes after Namor diagonally axe-kicks said thug into the ground. ]}

[the shield bounces off one of the guys heads before coming back to him]

They might not be Nazi, but they need to be stopped.

I could always flood the City, if it came down to it.

_{[ He headbutts one of the losers, knocking him out. Killing people in front of Cap always...bothers him, for some reason. ]}

Now children, we sort of have a situation on our hands so if you'll... [slams his shield into one of the thugs heads] Get your asses working. Maybe we can get something accomplished before midnight.

Aw, I didn't even get to make fun of his hair yet. I was treating that as an order. [expression of mock disappointment]

Fine. Do we have a definite objective here, or is it just knocking out as many of these goons as possible?

_{[ About four thugs of varying sizes have been thrown down the street and into a fairly large car. Awesome. ]}

I believe finding "The Joker" will put an end to this, somehow.

And as we're standing around here I'm guessing we haven't got a clue where he is. [He jerks a finger towards the nearest pile of unconscious bodies.] Are any of these lugs sane enough to talk, or are we gonna recon the hard way?

[on the com for a moment and gives a smile to the other two.]

The Joker will be handled, but these people need to be stopped. Robin III is making an antidote for the toxin, and it should be done by tonight.

I'm sure if you just follow the screams, and destruction of property, you'll be able to find Namor and myself. Also might have seen a few of these guys being flung to other blocks. I think Namor's enjoying himself.
