It would be quite unwise for me to go so far as to reveal myself in this place, whether as Kira or Yagami Light. I am not in the possession of the death note any longer, and I would be a fool to assume I find one in this place. Furthermore, there could be people here aware of my identity-- since this place seems to pull people erratically without warning from various planes of existence, it isn't unlikely that either L or someone like Near might show up here, however unfortunate that might be. I, however, am lucky enough still, to have been granted abilities-- I should see to it that I keep my real identity hidden for now, if not permanently, and see to it that I can do as much good as possible.

It seems to me there is a great deal of evil in this city and endangering the people therein. I, personally, would like to take your safety into my hands as best as I can. I've taken on a position at the local law enforcement and detective agency to conduct my work from there. For now, for the sake of safety, you may call me A.

No, it's mostly just a few clowns (sometimes literally) causing trouble. Nothing to get your panties in a bunch about, until people die.

It is disconcerting to find out how petty the criminals seem to have become here. Clowns. Really? And the law enforcement is, naturally, helpless to stop anything.

And even beyond that it is worrying to find that the people here seem to care so little about the good of this place. Until people die-- people shouldn't die in the first place, not unless they deserve to.

I suppose he has no reason to believe otherwise, though the fact that the name alone stands out to him raises suspicion. These 'other heroes' are, after all, likewise equipped with powers, and it would be in my best interest not to underestimate them, as much as I wish I could simply write them off in favor of other characters around here.

Everyone has their own agenda, I should do well not to reveal too much.

If I'm not careful there, I could far too easily reveal myself to be Kira to someone who might be reading this. Considering Mello or whom I assume to be Near-- let's also take into consideration the possibility of L lurking in on these channels and reading these conversations-- I'm going to have to tread carefully. I can't lie, there's always the possibility of an alliance I don't know of with some sort of person with an ability to detect such a thing.

I can't be careful enough. Then again, I never was much a fan of lying, regardless. And either way, it's still a vague enough request for a rather broad term that I doubt he's expecting a direct answer.

Though I will not say that I have not had my share of displeasure to talking to the lady earlier who seems so bitter and resentful that she wouldn't see justice if it slapped her in the fact, on the general whole I would say that they are useful, easy to control, and a necessary evil means to an end.

But, useful. Being condescending over this particular woman's rather sad and pathetic naïvety will get me nowhere at this juncture. But if I play my cards right, I may acquire some amount of dumb loyalty from her. Not to the level of Misa, perhaps, but, nevertheless, a potentially useful pawn regardless.
