[ Norman hold up the communicator, looking at the screen while sitting on a bench, dressed sharply in a suit-vest and eating french fries. Mm, junk food. ]

Well, it seems like things are clearing up. It's nice not to have to spend another evening dealing with riots and mayhem; had I still my team I would have loved to be able to put a stop to the violence days ago. But that is life for you, isn't it?

I much prefer the park at night, anyway.

[ Oh yeah, he is outside, isn't he? ]
professorlionface: (It's really quite simple.)

Nor is it a conversation that isn't about mutants.

But yes, I suppose you could have dealt with the situation sooner if you had some special awareness of it. Perhaps, say, if you were on good terms with its instigator.
professorlionface: (Most excellent! :3)

Or was it perhaps that you did that when you brought your team to San Francisco?

A stretch for most, perhaps, but nothing I would put past you.
professorlionface: (Might I just add...)

I will admit to perhaps being unfamiliar with your thought processes and motivations, but frankly believe they have no bearing on the situation. The ultimate effect overshadows the intention.

And I notice you haven't even begun to defend Gyrich's attempted coup of S.W.O.R.D. You remember, the one that nearly opened the planet to an invasion from the Drenx and worse? Of course, we didn't need your helping sorting that out, either.

I couldn't speak to any specifics, as we're only only discussing the hypothetical on this point, but you've been known to associate with worse.
professorlionface: (Can't be overly concerned at the moment!)

History is never irrelevant, Mr. Osborn. And context is something you've always been known to skew to your own ends.

I could make a list, certainly, but it could take weeks!
professorlionface: (Let's consider this.)

Ah, but the conversation was on the topic of the history of your methods. If you want to talk about relevance, then derailing the conversation to the semantics of what is or isn't relevant to begin with certainly qualifies.

Well, just off the top of my head, there's Bullseye, Venom, Dark Beast, Mystique. Only the tip of the iceberg, of course.
professorlionface: (I'm hardly impressed.)

Not the same person as who? Because the only time you've done was a near-exact repeat of the same situation on a different world. You'll have to forgive me if I fail to see the differences.
professorlionface: (Um.)

Cute, very cute.
