[ Norman hold up the communicator, looking at the screen while sitting on a bench, dressed sharply in a suit-vest and eating french fries. Mm, junk food. ]
Well, it seems like things are clearing up. It's nice not to have to spend another evening dealing with riots and mayhem; had I still my team I would have loved to be able to put a stop to the violence days ago. But that is life for you, isn't it?
I much prefer the park at night, anyway.
[ Oh yeah, he is outside, isn't he? ]

A resume may not be necessary. Just talk to him. I'll put in a good word for you. The group should still be active.

My name's Claire, Claire Stanfield. I'll seek Mr. Nygma out.
These Avengers, are they simply deluded criminals? I have respect for people who at least try to be honorable and good, so I wouldn't exactly mind, but that depends on the long term problems they've caused. What are they? I wonder why they're worth recommending when you seem to not like them yourself.

They're certainly more criminal than hero. They've cost the City and its taxpayers untold money in property damage, and see fit to administer whatever sort of justice they please on those whose lifestyles they don't approve of. Perhaps they're "protectors" a fraction of the time, but their disorganization and bias makes them more the problem than the solution.

That makes me curious; what was your team like, then? Don't heroes have to assess for themselves who deserves to be punished and what that proper punishment would be? Ah, well, it's not just heroes who do that. People in power generally have that authority, and in this case, that just happens to be them. Do you feel they are wrong in their judgments? Haha, actually, I bet they were the ones who threw ya into the mental hospital.
I can't say I'm liking the sound of these deluded attitudes, though. I guess I'll get a better sense of what type of people they are once I start meeting the members!

[ A pause. ] My team worked in harmony with the law. We didn't impose an arbitrary vigilante justice on the masses; we stopped crime and disaster where we saw it, and let the authorities deal with due process.
But. [ Another pause. ] Perhaps a more inside view of the Avengers wouldn't be a bad idea. If they ever see beyond themselves long enough to allow diversity on their team, consider joining. You can tell me what they get up to; just how bad it all really is.

[He doesn't pause upon taking this suggestion in, because he makes his judgment pretty quickly. Osborn is smart, so he doubts he's trying to manipulate him. He'd know better, after all!] Now, why do ya think I'd be willing to do that?

If you're interested in learning more about them, after all, the easiest way is always personal experience. Look at Joseph Pistone. It's not the same thing, but you get what I'm saying.
voice; private
I'm not sure who Joseph Pistone is. Must be a man after my time. I'm from the year 1932.
And I'm interested, yeah, but I've got my own ways of getting information. I don't have any suspicions about 'em or anything, I'm just curious! You were hoping to use me, weren't you?
voice; private
[ Pause. ] I suppose he was. He was an FBI agent that infiltrated the mafia. I thought the analogy would be appreciated.
Use you? We just met. That would be fairly presumptuous and ambitious of me.
voice; private
No kiddin'! He really did that?! He must have been one heck of an actor!! [He sounds genuinely surprised and excited.] That's the kinda level of acting I wanna aspire to myself one day. Actually, I'm pretty certain I could do the same thing if I really wanted to.
Ah, that's what I thought, since I bet you don't have any money to use to hire me, anyway. I imagine you'd want to use someone you trust, too.
voice; private
[ Pause. ]
Would you, though. What would make you want to? That sort of thing requires a lot of dedication to the mission.
voice; private
I won't deny that it would depend on the money I'd be paid and my employer. See, I won't work for just anyone. I don't think I'm terribly picky, though.
Oh, then there's the challenge, of course. I like to be kept up on my toes, y'know? I need opportunities where I can effectively use my skills so I don't get rusty. That includes acting. Dedication really isn't an issue for me, either, since I always get the job done.
Hmm, but then again, I don't like being surrounded by people I don't like, so I guess it'd depend on the group I'd have to infiltrate, too.
voice; private
Well, that's quite a varied repertoire. Perhaps Mr. Nygma will find you a medium to keep you busy; he has his eggs in a lot of baskets, no doubt something will fit. What are your qualifications for an employer?
