Well, City, it's been an entire year since I first arrived.  I wish I could say it's been all fun and games, but, well.  You know.

Anyway, I was wondering, who do you miss the most of the people that have been ported out.   I have to say I miss Mia Dearden the most, if only because I know I won't get to see her again in my world.  I miss Billy and Teddy, but at least I know our team will be back together again eventually.  I may never get to see Mia again.

Have you been ported out?

[dragony]

Just once. I was replaced with a me from the past, while I went back to my own world. She was here for a week or so, I think, and I was only in my world for a day, but it was almost a month later before I came back. It was a long time ago, though.

That sounds pretty complicated. Do you remember all of it?

[dragony]

From when the kid-me was here, not much more than impressions. I remember what happened in that day in my own world, but the edges and details are a little fuzzy now. The memories, I guess you could say, attached further into the past in my mind, as if they happened immediately after the moment before I got here. So, even though it happened a year after the fact, it sort of overlaps with my memory of my real first day in the City.

That's so strange. Do you know if that happened to anyone else too?

Oh, yeah. It was one of those times when lots of people were exchanged for other-thems. But I don't know if many other people disappeared when it was over like I did.
