My birthday's in two days, but I don't feel much like celebrating. Not with everyone gone or hurt.

I'm coming back to the City in the morning. I bought a lot of sweets while I was up here, does anyone want to come over and help me eat them?

It's going to be a proper, finished one too, with electricity and appliances and everything, so it won't matter if we have to hide down there for a long time.

You can't stay in the pool all the time, though! You'll get all wrinkly and the chlorine is horrible for my hair.

But there's other things you can do to stay cool in the summer without being inside. Like eating a lot of ice cream, or having water balloon fights, or smashing watermelons. Besides, being inside is booooring.

Nature's way of saying that you should play more real people games when outside. You can't play a video game with a whole lot of people and summer's all about spending time with your friends.
