[The feed clicks on to a feline nose and loud purring. The camera gets batted around for a few seconds before a rustling sound draws the kitten's attention.}

Oh, Clarinda, you just can't leave that alone, can you?

[Fluttershy picks the communicator on and sits it upright on the table before returning her attention to a dressmaker's dummy. She's wearing a completely backless version of this dress and her wings are spread out. The sharp-eyed will notice what looks like a tattoo of three pink and aqua butterflies just at the base of her spine.]

[The... item on the dressmaker's dummy looks like a tight bodysuit with a multi-coloured spiderweb pattern across the whole thing. Draped over it is a modified white coat; only the left side goes all the way down to the floor, while the right side stops around knee height. The main draw, however, is the feathers on the back. It looks like a tie-dyed version of a lyrebird's tail feathers and extends from the base of the spine to above where the wearer's head would be. The feathers stop just short of the ceiling.]

Oh, I do hope Ziggy likes this...

[Fluttershy continues to adjust minor positioning parts on the costume, completely unaware that Clarinda turned the video on and she's broadcasting to the whole network...]

Creatures do have a way of surprising you sometimes. I do love how clever and inventive they can be.

I find a lot of them are very rude here though - especially the rats around here. They can be so inconsiderate.

[ ...yeah olivia is just gonna go with it. let's not belabor the point about talking to animals. she should really get used to weird things coming up over the network. ]

I'm not surprised rats are rude. They're rats, after all.

[He smiles and watches her work for a bit before interrupting.]

That looks absolutely gorgeous, darling! I hope it's for me. ... I'm a bit jealous of your dress as well, honestly.

Fluttershy lets out a surprised squeak before she rushes over and accidentally knock the communicator over, cutting the feed.]

[After a moment, the feed comes back on. Fluttershy is blushing furiously and looks very flustered]

Ziggy! I... how long has my communicator been on?

[A pause, before Fluttershy trains the video on the costume she's made.]

... do you like it?

[At least the cut feed means he can giggle without her hearing or seeing for a moment. It lets him regain composure, so as not to risk the shy girl's feelings.]

I don't just like it, sweetheart, I love it! It's magnificent!

[The biggest smile EVER!]

Really? So, you'll wear it for the concert? It's not going to get in the way or anything like that?

[She's practically bouncing off the walls here...]

Of course I'll wear it! How could I pass up the opportunity? I don't see it getting in the way at all. The stage is more than tall enough to allow room. Thank you so much!

[Now she's actually floating - her wings are flapping enough to create a small breeze and blow a few papers around, but she doesn't care. She's ecstatic]

[She tiwrls in place before finally landing again; the dress she's wearing twirls and moves with her without bunching or destroying the line of it at all.]

[He's very impressed with her wings. The fact their functional makes it so much better! Why couldn't he have gotten wings from the porter instead of his frustrating powers?]

I should! Give me a few minutes to get myself together and I'll be right over. I'll try to be patient for fittings and adjustments. I've had my fidgeting complained over in the past.

If it's much trouble to get into, I may need your assistance backstage at the show. I hope you don't mind?

Thank you. I really hated the spotlight the last time it was on me. It was dreadful being a model...

It's not for everyone, no. Though I can't imagine going back to life without it.
...It's a shame. With your lovely wings and hair, you make quite the striking model, I'm sure.

That's why Rarity asked me to do it. She needed a model because Photo Finish wanted to take some shots of her clothes, and it eventually worked out that I became a model! It was fun occasionally, I'll admit, but I really didn't enjoy it that much. I missed Rarity and the quiet life and my animals too much.

It sounds very exciting, but I can see where it might be too much for you. I like the travel, the lights, the attention, the cameras.. I find life very boring without it all.

[She cocks her head to one side] Why is that?

You seem very shy, dear. A bit quiet and adorably modest. Personally, though, I'm very fond of attention. I like crowds and high energy. If things aren't always moving and changing, it just seems tedious to me.
