Day 10 - VIDEO

[ There is a pie. There is a pie with the π symbol on it. There is a pie with little sticky blueberry squiggly legs and little blueberry arms with little blueberry claws. It hisses, clawing at the camera.

Calendar Man’s hand comes down and picks up the communicator, away from the weird little pi monster. More little pie monsters – apple, cherry, strawberry rhubarb – try to grab the comm. Julian manages to take it away from then and looks into the camera. His eyebrow couldn’t possibly raise itself any more. ]

It is March 14th. 3/14.

I had been disinclined to count the so-called “Pi Day” as a real holiday, but evidently my powers disagree. [ A small smile spreads. ] That raises some intriguing implications, doesn’t it?

Tell me, City – how many of you celebrate unusual or uncommon holidays?

I would prefer if they weren't cute, but perhaps it is more suitable that a less serious holiday would have less serious monsters.

I'd hate to see what happens on Halloween.

I would very much like to see - I'm afraid I missed the opportunity last year. Halloween was the day I arrived. It was quite distracting, particuarly as the City was dealing with monsters that were not my own.
