Day 10 - VIDEO
[ There is a pie. There is a pie with the π symbol on it. There is a pie with little sticky blueberry squiggly legs and little blueberry arms with little blueberry claws. It hisses, clawing at the camera.
Calendar Man’s hand comes down and picks up the communicator, away from the weird little pi monster. More little pie monsters – apple, cherry, strawberry rhubarb – try to grab the comm. Julian manages to take it away from then and looks into the camera. His eyebrow couldn’t possibly raise itself any more. ]
It is March 14th. 3/14.
I had been disinclined to count the so-called “Pi Day” as a real holiday, but evidently my powers disagree. [ A small smile spreads. ] That raises some intriguing implications, doesn’t it?
Tell me, City – how many of you celebrate unusual or uncommon holidays?

[The pie monsters definitely have his attention.]
What are those things? They look pretty wild!

Pi monsters. Not the most useful as far as monsters go, but acceptable.

Pi Monsters? What do they do besides look freaky and try to steal your comm?

Oh and I bet I could bake a pie for today, too! And perhaps it would be called a Pi Pie!
