Unless anyone has any evidence otherwise, it looks like all the Potters have been ported out. James didn't show up for his shift this morning and no one was at the house.
voice
What? James and Harry? Both of them?
[voice]
Yeah. It looks that way. I may be wrong. Either one of them could be someplace else. I'm sure there are loads of reasons that are keeping them from saying so.
[ No, no she's not sure. ]

Buckbeak was at our place this morning. I thought he was just hungry.

I'm going to have to find home for Lily's pet monkey. Any suggestions?

I can’t believe this. Harry just got here, and James…
[ She just doesn’t even finish that. She’ll see Harry again, some day, and he’ll be the right age. A year older than her again. But James…he was her friend, and now she’d never see him again. Not unless he came back here. ]
Sorry, Tonks. Do you need a hand? I could come over, if you wanted.

[ Tonks shakes her head. ]
D'you need help sitting up a pen or something for him?
[ She might be rubbish with animal care but she can cast wards and charms with the best of them. ]
It's awful, Ginny. Everything is so bloody temporary here. It's like just as soon as we get used to something, it's taken away.
[ It's different than home, even with a war going on. Home is at least familiar, the City is not. ]
Could you?
action from here
I'll come to meet you, don't go anywhere.
[ Ginny goes outside, and after checking to make sure no one's looking, she apparates to James' old house. She goes up to Tonks' side. ]
Hi. Are you okay?
no subject
I'm fine. People come and go all the time. I should be used to it. What about you?

Part of her is glad he’s gone home, for more reason than one. But that feeling has guilt attached to it, so she doesn’t want to talk about it.
James is more of a sure thing. She looks more openly upset now. ]
James was my friend. I liked talking to him, and now…
Unless he comes back, that’s it, isn’t it. I’ll never see him again.

[ She even dislikes that she came up with the depressing statement. Tonks doesn't like to be the bearer of bad news. ]

[ Especially when James and Lily are going back to die or going back to being dead. ]
I think the worst part is that there's nothing to be done about it.
[video]
The porter took my partner a few months ago. It's...it was probably one of the worst feelings I've ever experienced.
[video]
[video]
Anyway I'm supposed to be the one making you feel better not the other way around.
[video]
[ She never remembered her stay but hey! At least she was here. ]
It's alright, Seras. I suspect these sorts of things run in circles.
[video]
Still, if there's anything I can do let me know and if you need time off I'll find someone to fill in.
[video]
No. I'll be fine. Thanks though.
[video]
And if you do end up needing anything let me know. I don't want you thinking you just have to grin and bear it okay?

Video;
For Merlin's sake. This bloody place...
Video;
Tonks doesn't have much to say. She just gives her mother one of those looks. ]
This bloody place pretty accurately describes it, yeah.
[ Meh. ]

[ In the meantime, it's rubbish. ]
Video;
[That doesn't mean it isn't difficult, though.]
Video;
[ A really big pile of rubbish that's been left out in the sun for a week. ]
that was the wrong icon...
Alright, then.

Harry'll be fine. James... That's shit, but what can you do?

Want to do for a drink?
