Since the Porter has been kind enough to return Dr. Topher Brink to us I wanted to make an announcement officially promoting him to Vice President and also giving him share in the company. His absence and return has made it clear I need to prepare for the possibility it could happen to me and this is just one of the steps I'll be taking to ensure that Rossum will be here to stay and that all of you who work for me will always have a job.

Also I'm going to be visiting all your departments soon hopefully to see how you are all doing. Don't worry it's not going to be anything formal. I just want to know if there's anything that any of you need, or suggestions for improvements you might have.

That's a shame. Your previous employers should have known better. You don't hire someone of your skill and then shut them out of any input on how to run their division.

Now, I do want to say one more thing. Even though Topher won't be in charge of GPS I would still like it if you made his aquatince at some point. He's very important to me and if anything should happen I'll need you to evacuate him from the city and keep him safe. He's a higher priority than even me, understand?

If that's your main worry, it would be best to put together a team for emergencies made up of natives. I, too, could be sent home at any point. The longer we're here doesn't change the possibility that it could happen on any day.

I propose letting me hand-pick a trustworthy team out of the men I've worked with so far. I can still take point, but should both of us disappear, they would be already on deck for the future. Is that fair?

That sounds like the best plan. Do it and whatever you need to equip them hardware, or transport wise you can have.
