[Video flickers on for a few moments. Long enough for the viewer to get a good look at a confused bespecdled girl with...are those white furry ears sticking out of the top of her head? However, that's quickly gone and it seems she figured out to get the text function to work.]

it seems ive found myself in someplace new
i wasnt expecting to leave the ship for at least another two years
but i cant complain, this isn't so bad!! :)
well a little hot but not bad!

im not entirely sure as things are still a little fuzzy but i think my friends may be here as well, perhaps youve met them?

come to think of it those are probably very common names

[She's waiting for him with her gaze turned skyward. But the moment he comes into range she smiles at him.]

[ A good call on her part, because John is rushing through the air, coming to what would be a screeching halt if air screeched, but as it turns out just creates a lot of unnecessary wind gusts as he stops in front of her and floats down quickly. He stumbles slightly with his landing, but corrects easily. ]

Jade! Oh man, it's good to see you are okay!

[dogwitch]

[Jade laughs and uses one hand to hold her skirt down while the other goes to keep her hood from flying off her head. Although her ears probably would have stopped that.]

Hello John. I'm glad you're okay as well.

[dupable]

[ The smile he gives her is more than a little forced. ]

Yeah, I am pretty much fine.

[dogwitch]

[Jade moves quickly to pull him into a tight hug. She can tell that smile is forced!]

So what's the situation here? I mean I got that whole spiel from the AI but...I don't know it's strange.

[dupable]

[ Hugging her back tighter than is strictly necessary, before pulling back. ]

Uhm, well... surprise! You are on Earth again, only it isn't actually our Earth. It's sort of like an alternate reality Earth where this computer lady called the Porter seems to be in charge of everything, and kind of forces people to come here, and sends them home whenever she feels like it?

[dogwitch]

[She lets out a soft oof as he hugs her tightly back. After he releases her she looks around at their surroundings.]

Wow. As I said before it's certainly unexpected. And rude of her! Jerking people away from important business back in their homes and then jerking them away from any friends they've made here.

[ He grins sheepishly at her. He hadn't meant to make that hurt, but sometimes he forgets his own strength. ]

Yeah, I don't think she really cares about any of that though. She pretty much does whatever she wants whenever she wants. She's kind of a massive tool.

[dogwitch]

And we don't have much a choice but to sit back and let her do what she wants? That's ridiculously lame.

[She was pretty sure 'ridiculously lame' was an understatement but it would suffice for the time being.]

Well... sort of! A lot of people are still looking for a way out and a way to fight against her, we just haven't found much yet.

[dogwitch]

[She frowns and looks back at the building behind her before turning back to John.]

Well I don't think it's too bad. Just another adventure, right?

Uhm, well Dave, Dave sprite and Rose are here. Also a bunch of the trolls too, like Karkat and Kanaya and Vriska.

[Looking at the bright side of things!]

Wow there's a lot of us here.

Yeah! Only a lot of them aren't really here right now at this moment.

[dogwitch]

You mean the whole...hellbus thing? [She's had enough time to look through the network a bit. And talk to a few other people.]

Is that what they are calling it now? I guess that makes sense, since wherever they are stuck sounds pretty awful.

[dogwitch]

Someone was. Pretty sure that's what the incident is being dubbed now. [She frowns.]

So...I'm assume we have a place set up for us? Because as much as I want to catch up with everyone I'm feel pretty beat.

Yeah, we have a house in the City! I will take you to it right now actually. Your old room is still there, and pretty much how you left it when you were here before.

[dogwitch]

[She smiles.]

Okay then, lets go.

[dupable]

Alright, well then...

[ He holds out his hand to her to take. ]

It'll be a lot easier if we fly there!

[dogwitch]

[She takes his hand, despite the fact she can fly herself. It's probably better she doesn't overexert herself so soon. She would have pointed out it'd be faster if she teleported them both but she wanted to see the city (even if it is dark) and she wasn't sure where the house was, even with her ability to find anything.]

Let's go! [She smiles brightly.]

[ Spacey dreamself powers are still hard to get used to, sometimes! And after having a Jade he had to fly around places as long as he did, old habits die hard.

Either way, he'll be lifting them both into the air, and have them up above most of the buildings in under a minute. ]

You got it.

[ Pchooooo, and they're off. ]

[dogwitch]

[Even more so when you've been unexpectedly dragged across dimensions by a crazy AI and you're left feeling, kind of, out of it.

Once in the air she lets out a gasp and just marvels at the city below her.]

It's...huge.

[ He's trying to grin and play the good tour guide, even though he's not sure how long he's gonna have to really show her around tonight. ]

Yep! New York City, only not exactly? I'm not sure how that really works, but it is basically a lot like that, which means it's really big.

[dogwitch]

[Jade doesn't mind just a quick tour on the way to the house. Anything more can come later. She knows there's things people need to do right now. Plus she really is feeling pretty drained.]

I can't wait to explore but that'll have to wait for another day.
