[ A person's first interaction with the public should be carefully thought out so that every detail leads to the impression that the speaker is an intelligent and productive member of society. Generally it should be an introduction with the intent of making new friends and working towards the goals already set in place. For a girl who's been here for a few months now, she thinks an introduction is meaningless. Instead, she goes for what she desires most. ]

[ There are many assumptions one can draw from this. For one, she likes ~~trolling someone who uses this often~~ animals. For another, she's not that great with technology and might just be learning it now. ~~You can blame Roxy for this.~~ Due to that, she's much like a teenager when they first get on the web. Rin also doesn't like to ask for things, but instead enjoys learning about others instead. While many probably use this to ask questions they need answers to, she asks in favor of just being addressed. Lastly, the size of her font? Clearly she's overcompensating for her ego and enjoys being "loud" and important. It may also have to do with a certain someone telling her the more unique her font is, the more powerful her magic. For Rin Tohsaka, first impressions mean a lot, but she's "venturing out" from the norm as a magus in a city that allows her to do so. ]

[ Huh? ] That's surprising to hear, Archer.

[ Especially since he made it a point to make her fall into his arms once before and tie her into a chair. If there's any person who can push her down and lift her back up in a single conversation... ]

I thought you wanted me to be pampered as though I were a queen.

...well, it's a difficult dilemma.

I think even a queen has to learn to live a little of the hard life to better understand the people who serve her. So... I thought think it's much of a dilemma.

[ His voice is soft. ]

[ The memory of his dreams lately tugs at him. Those are Rin's memories, aren't they? The little girl all but alone in that cold house, pushing herself so hard to become a worthy magus... ]

[ Her own falls into the same softness. ] I imagine it wasn't common for queens to have to learn as much algebra as the average high school student.

I don't think you did a bad job. Of being a queen and a girl.

Naturally I mean it! You command like a queen, but get mad over silly things like your stockings, like a girl...it's really a good job if you think about it.

[ Rin admits easily. ] I mean you, Archer, before you start questioning others.

[ The noise escapes him before he can stop it, his eyes widening. How can she call him that? And why does it feel so right, why does it make him feel so good to be praised as a knight in her service?

It shouldn't. He should know that she must be mistaken to say such a thing. That she simply doesn't know what's underneath the face he's shown her. Painfully, he wipes the sudden warmth out and just shrugs at her. ]

Of course you benefit from my strength. That's only natural. But if you deprive yourself of all credit, I'll get annoyed.

You wouldn't have the chance to be in that position if I never called you. I'm grateful that the opportunity was given to me, Archer.

[ A nod. ] Well, the rest of this conversation can be had in person if we have to.

[ What is she saying? It doesn't even make sense. She meant to summon Saber; he's known that from the start. So why is she saying an absurd thing like this? ]

[ Maybe she's just hurt that the Saber she met here remembers neither of them. Maybe that made her give up, and he just needs to convince her that she's worthy even of that Saber again. There's probably some explanation, and he'll figure it out eventually. ]

You should go back to your cat pictures.

I have something called a blog for them.

[ She sounds so happy over it. ] I can post these pictures to my blog and everyone comments on how cute they are. I hope to add Idiot to the collection someday, but I think I need one of those drives on a computer to slide the picture into.

That's not how DVD-ROM drives work. More to the point, that's not how anything on a computer works. I'm surprised you haven't made this device explode yet.

[ And he's back to the sarcasm and exasperation. It's much easier than it was a matter again, when he felt like she's wrenched open his ribcage with just a few words. ]
