Sooooo. Bad news, guys. Max Gibson ported out this morning. I'm optimistic that she'll be back soon, but you know how it goes around here. I won't be holding my breath.

Anyways, in less depressing news — or more, depending on your perspective — Valentine's Day is just one week away. What're your plans, Network? Anyone up for an anti-date night?

...Okay you caught me, not used to thinking about money. Does that mean you'll accept a date when I can afford it?

[A sympathetic shrug, but he's only got around 2 friends and he's awkward even around them... he just gets along with technology better.] Sorry to hear that. Seeing people come and go has to be a pain.

Almost everyone I've been close to here has left at one point or another. It sucks majorly, but you sort of get used to it as time goes on.

Are you... seriously asking me out? [A beat.] Um. Okay.

Getting used to it sounds even worse. Can't promise I won't leave since I'm actually trying to find a way out, but I'll do my best to tell you before I go.

[A beat. Two beats. At this rate they are just going to keep on surprising each other.]

Also I think this thing is malfunctioning because you just said 'okay'?

I did say 'okay'. I don't have anything else planned. Except maybe Xbox.

I assure you I'm way funnier than an Xbox. Unless I'm the one fixing the Xbox but who can compete with that, really.

I dunno. Iron Man?

That's the second time you've mentioned him to me... Was he famous or something?

[recurve]

Yeah. He's one of the most famous superheroes ever. He co-founded the Avengers and he runs a multibillion dollar company both in my world and here in the City.

[teamme]

Yet I never heard of him? Guess there wasn't Iron Man in my world.

Does your world have any superheroes?

[teamme]

We have comic books?

[recurve]

We have those too, except back home they're mostly based on real people.

Next you're going to tell me you know that alien dude that goes around in red and blue.

Not personally, but I was pretty good with his cousin. Not back home, here.

Wow, seriously? And I thought I was a weirdo, I might end being the most normal person in here.

At least I don't wear spandex.

What's wrong with spandex?

It looks uncomfortable, and doesn't protect much against... anything. I'd make myself a metal armor or something like that instead.

Spandex moves easily, and if worn properly it can breathe. And with the right accessories, it can look pretty awesome.

[teamme]

I'm guessing the pretty lady is speaking from experience.

I'm sure you could make it work. Is it asking too much for you to wear it on the date we'll have when I get enough money?

That'd be like mixing business and pleasure.

But I guess I could, if you really want to see me in costume.

If you want I can show up in my costume, but since it's basically a blacksmith's apron and a belt you might not find it especially appealing.
