If this is a city of heroes, I'm willing to bet it's also a city of danger. _{( He says that derisively. )} If you were going to rate this place based on how easy it was to get sick, injured--how would it compare to your home ti--that is, world? Are buildings getting knocked down, people getting crazy interdimensional diseases?

I like to know what I'm working with.

How 'bout this, then-- what three things do you figure a guy who's only been here an hour needs to know?

1 a. there's no exit but you already got that which is why it's half a bullet point.

1 b. however, you can be sent home whenever and however by the whim of Lachesis, the sentient AI.

2. you get powers. don't know what kind or how they manifest, but you're technically a meta now. you might find out what they are in ten minutes or never so.

3. apparently it's a thing that people have been transporting to alternate universes within this one. I don't know much about that stuff, I haven't been around for it.

Most things my imagination comes up with are pretty horrible.

That, or any number of things you might do to screw up your spine, or just flat-out crashing. People were not meant to fly.

plenty of people fly, whether given powers or not. some people are born with the ability to fly.

Then their bodies are probably suited to it. But if you just took a normal person and let them fly, they'd be bound to break something.

I really don't think that's the case.

Then maybe flying and dumb luck always some as a set.

I mean, I imagine that Lachesis outfits your body when she gives you the power to not... you know, die when you fly from whatever.

but that's not what I'm trying to say here.
