As the audio begins, anyone with a good ear or paying close attention will notice there isn’t complete radio silence between the time the feed turns on and when a woman begins speaking. There’s a passing wind that lightly filters in through the speaker – and are those wings flapping in the distance? ]

Okay, I get it; Lachesis does not appreciate a hands on approach. Does she really call herself that? I guess she doesn’t get memos, but I thought I washed my hands of this alternate universe mess a while ago and I’m seriously not interested in being apart of it.

The City... that’s original. [ A light scoff. ] Should have stuck with New York.

If anyone from the JSA or the League is—oh. One second. [ The audio cuts for about five minutes before it’s switched back on and Peej sighs. ] That was a close call.

Sorry, as I was saying: All-stars or JSA, Leaguers, Titans, heck even Legionnaires ... this is Power Girl. I think I’ve gotten the gist of the situation, but if there’s anything else I need to be briefed on get in contact with me ASAP.

[ Not that her voice will betray how she really feels, but she really hopes she’s not stuck in another alternate universe by herself again. ]

Uhm. Zatanna's here, and the little Robin and a Robin from the future, and Huntress but not the one from our universe, but she's cool anyway! Uh...some of the gotham crazies, like Two-face and Harley Quinn, 'cept she says she's not evil anymore... Oh and the Riddler is the deputy mayor but you sorta get used to that after a while.

[ Thank god her brain runs fast enough to process that.

Hang on. You're one of Oracle's so can you encrypt this between us?

Yeah just a sec...

[She leans forward, tapping on a few buttons, and after a moment looks satisfied. The feed encrypts.]

Okay, there. And I kinda am as close as we have to Oracle anymore so...

It's not a good sign of Zatanna is here.

I know about the new Robin, but what about this "future Robin"?

And what can you tell me about the Riddler's activities? [ She wants to ask about Huntress, but she'll wait. ]

I know she's tried to magic herself back and it never works.

Well she's not calling herself Robin anymore, but she's pretty nice, you could probably just talk to her?

[A beat.]

Actually, as far as i know he's not a criminal here? He's just like...deputy mayor. I've never really talked to him much cause...evil.

Another girl Robin? Is she blond?

[ A pause before she drags a hand down her face. ]

That's why we're supposed to keep an eye on people like him.

Nah her hair's more reddish? It's not...you know, became-batgirl Robin. She was here but she's gone.

[Misfit looks a tad sheepish.]

It's been years though. Maybe he's, you know, legit?

We don't have anything in the databases back with the JSA or All-Stars about a red haired Robin. I'll keep an eye out, though.

He could be, but I want to know how exactly he became Deputy Mayor.

Well she's from the future so.

[Charlie frowns.]

I...have no idea. I think he just worked for the Mayor? He's an import too. Actually like a bunch of the people in City Hall are imports.

We've got Legionnaires, Misfit. [ Or maybe Oracle doesn't have that information. That would be a shocker. ]

Okay, point. But it's not like we've documented all the future ever! There's infinite of it!

[Charlie shrugs.]

Sort of? Locally anyway. Internationally it's kinda like...some countries like us and some hate us and the rest just tolerate our existence.

Also there are these shapeshifting alien things called Skrulls running around pretending to be world leaders so that's pretty awkweird.

Okay, you're going to have to start from the beginning.

...Right. Okay. [Pause. Where to start.][And Charlie killed one but she's not mentioning that.] But they were working for this other group called...Vulcanus?

And they've made a bunch of other countries hate us, and once they made their own imports but that was a big mess and most of them died, and now they're kinda like, terrorists? So some people like them and hate us but other people like us and hate them and it's all a big mess.

[Gasp.]

Vulcanus? [ Wasn't there some demi-god or fake god called that back home? ] Hold up. Hold up.

Vulcanus are terrorists who are targeting us imPorts. Why?

No clue. I guess they hate us? Or maybe we're in the way. Or maybe they want to be us. Maybe they're just nuts!

They took over another universe and made it some kind of anti-import paradise, but I didn't go along for that so I dunno what it was like.

[ Misfit is being too vague for her to understand that. Plan B: ]

How secure are these communicators?

Oracle invented these encryptions so they're almost unbreakable? There are some technopaths here who might be able to get through them, but I don't think any ever have?

They're as secure as anything can be, basically. So...secure.

Do you have files of this Vulcanus you can send over?

Now that I can do. Because these computers are just...amazing...hold on.

[Charlie sets her comm down and there's a sound of typing and clicking. Eventually a series of files appears on PG's comm, pretty much everything public knowledge about vulcanus, plus transcripts of most conversations that took place on the network about them, news reports, newspapers.]

Uhm. I know it kinda sucks getting dropped here like this, but it's not actually so bad. Or that different from before, really.

Well, not...really. I mean, sometimes yeah but there's usually somebody around. When I first got here Oracle and Batgirl...the tiny one...were both here. Oracle's been here and gone a whole buncha times since then, and the other batgirl, and some of the robins and Batman a few times and Batwoman...Oh she's still here! And a couple different versions of Huntress?

None of them were Huntress from the Birds but...[A shrug.]

I never leave. But everyone who leaves now ends up leaving me their stuff so it's not like I have to worry about it much, I guess. I'm living with Hel...Huntress, she moved in after everybody left last time.

[She frowns.]

I think, like...you know how on TV shows sometimes there's a totally revolving cast where like you never know if characters are gonna stick around or leave or die or get written out but there's always that one character that's never the main one but always sort of hanging around and keeping everything constant?

I kinda think that's me.

[She's thought about this a lot. Also, rambling.]
