It's incredibly hard to deal with. When Dinah thought she'd killed Ollie, she refused to accept that he was dead. Of course, she was right, but that's a really, really long story.

I'm beginning to think that "dead" in your world doesn't really mean the same thing it does in mine. In yours it just seems to be synonymous with "temporarily incapacitated for an indefinite amount of time". Where I'm from it usually just means, straight-up, flat-out dead.

My father was dead. He was killed in an explosion. I saw it happen. Look, the explanation as to how he came back is exceedingly complicated even if you know what a Green Lantern ring can do, and I doubt you're familiar with them.
