Alright? So zhat super-secret project zhat I vanted help on? It vas teleporter. I vanted to find a vay to teleport us back to our vorlds because even zhough zhe Porter does not vork, ve can alvays build another one, correct? So I make blueprint and after getting some help-

Ve got zhe teleporter vorking! But I made a mistake somehow and ve didn't get teleported home but it does not matter because zhese cute little things got teleported into zhe City instead!

Zhese things are...kind of adorable. Zhe teleporter burned itself out, so does anybody vant one? Zhey are wery cute and I think zhey vould make good pets.

[The Tribble trills again. Chekov lets out a little laugh, scratching the thing on it's back.]

What are you looking for, then?

I have a sample but only in its purified, refined and manufactured form. I can give you the mineral structure and properties anyhow, it'd probably be easier to work with- my shard is mixed with all sorts of impurities. It's very similar to Adamantium, from what I hear- think of it as space adamantium:

If it exists, it needs to be kept an absolute secret. It's too dangerous, and besides the means to manufacture the alloy are known to a small group of dead old men who aren't in this universe anyway, so that 'art' is lost. Thank God. I'd still feel better if I knew the main ingredient was gone as well.

Well, that's what it is, essentially. Though I can't say I know the structure of adamantium very well and don't feel like getting close enough to Logan's claws to find out.

It's used to create an alloy that was used as the armor and weapon casings for a select number of mobile suits. For example, thermonuclear beam weapons so hot they can be used underwater, because the alloy has an abnormally high melting point.

As well as can be expected. The differences between that and my alloy aren't too great because of it. It just isn't reasonable to use it on a suit that I'll end up replacing in a year or so.

I could, but I incorporate new technology into every one, so it's something of a headache. Upgrades are one thing, retrofitting is another entirely.
