Hey howdy hey, boys and girls, Woody here, newbie imPort and now new police recruit extraordinaire. I figure I best put my services out there, so if any of you end up needing aid, y'got an extra name added to that list of helpers. I'm here to serve and no request is too big or small for this cowboy, so anythin' you think needs bringing up, give me a shout, police related or not.

Ha-hey, on an unrelated note, anyone know some place a guy can get himself a horse? I'm feelin' a little low without my trusty steed around and I sure as heck don't have one of those drivin' licences to get myself a car with.

For those who don't know me, howdy! Your good Captain Cheney hired me few days ago now an' I'm rearin' to go. Been looking' into a few cases on the network and in the station, but any help or info you got on current affairs would be mightily appreciated. I'm sure the lot of you have plenty on your workload, so let me know if you need an extra pair of hands. Plus I like to think of myself as the go to guy for a bit of easy recon and infiltration work. Until then, I'll just try and sort out some of this filing. And your desks. And the evidence rooms. This place needs a serious spring clean, partners.

I might have a few suggestions if you do intend to improve the organization of the department files.

What suggestions you got? I'd like to know what's helpful for you boys.

Our files concerning the many suspects in the City, both native and import, might use some reorganization. Some of them are known by a handful of aliases. It might also double as an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the motives and abilities of some of our Most Wanted suspects in greater detail.

Sure does seem like there's plenty of imports coming and going causing just as much trouble as the natives, seems like it can only help to look through all that. Y'got some real tough nuts in this city.

I wouldn't recommend spending all of your time on it, but it would be helpful. Mind that Inspector Lassiter doesn't assign you to secretarial duties. He will do so on the rare occasion when he becomes overwhelmed.

Tough in more ways than one. The variance in abilities makes it difficult to predict the threats each suspect poses in any given situation.

He's already tried that on me once before.

Guess y'just gotta take the same approach with all, right? Constant vigilance and expect the unexpected. Can't go wrong with that there set of rules.

I'm not surprised.

Usually that approach will work. As I've learned, including a call for backup into that plan is an advisable amendment.

Backup. Got it. I'll try and avoid going for the lone ranger approach 'round these parts. A good Sheriff always knows when to call on his pals, after all.

Sheriff? Then you're already familiar with law enforcement.

Darn tootin', partner. I've been runnin' whole communities since before most 'round here were born.

I was in charge of local security for a while myself. Might I ask how long you've been doing this?

Security, huh? Good job to be in.

Now lessee, takin' into account storage and new rooms and all that, it's gotta be over the fifty year mark. Boyohboy, that sure makes me feel old.

[Storage? New Rooms? Oh wait, yeah, he was talking to a toy. Which felt a bit strange to hear he was on the police force. But he's trying not to judge.]

Fifty years? You shouldn't let it age you, I've been on the force for 57 myself. It's refreshing to have another member who's been in the service for a while.

Hoboy, nice to know I'm not the only old timer. Still, this is waaaaay~ different from what I'm used to, gotta admit.

We're all out of our element some way or another.

Guess so, ain't a-one that can really be used to all this weirdness, I reckon.

Some more than others, but certainly not in its entirety.

There's no doubt to the challenge it all provides.

I kinda like it. Give you something to think about and do.

Then I believe you'll find quite a lot to think about here.
