It's always a rule never to get close to a phone or - I guess whatever this darling thing I'm doing - when you're drunk. You never know what you'll end up saying and it just leads to a very awkward conversation in the morning. Though, I highly doubt more than one cosmopolitan and one episode of the Twilight Zone can do this.

Then again, more than one drink can do a lot of things, can't it?

I certainly hope you all know that the answer is no and I certainly am not wrong in the head to actually think that this isn't real. If you want to assume that I'm ignorant enough to actually believe that it isn't, you're free to. I'm afraid that you'd actually end up wasting your time and there's really nothing I can do about that.

What I can do is get some answers. Where am I? What do you all want with me? At this point, I'd love to hear something interesting. I'd hate to be kidnapped and bored.

Well, it's a little much at first, yeah. But it's totally doable once you figure out which buttons do what and stuff.

[she was totally fiddling with it until it turned on. she ... can't really tell it's on, but Willow gets lovely shots of Joan's shoes and the ground.]

*Willow switches her own comm as soon as she sees, hoping it works out. (She doesn't know really anything about shoes, but she's pretty sure Joan's are classy and maybe even worth wanting, if you, you know, needed shoes like that. Which she doesn't, but hey.)*

[unluckily for her, as soon as she turned it over, she saw a random face on her phone and there's just a startled yelp as she flings her phone.]

*Willow can be patient. She'll be using her explaining technology voice, loudly so she can be heard, but still.*

[click click click of her heels before she picks it up again, but this time she doesn't have the camera the right way.]

I'm right here. Turn your comm the other way, there's buttons if you need them, the ones right of the screen.

[well, now it's upside down. give her a second...] It's like a small television set.

I don't know if that's what word I'd use.

Well, some people like it. It's not like you have to use the video setting, but it's good sometimes to be able to see faces and stuff.

You do need to keep your hand hidden.

Well, sometimes you're, you know, kinda talking with your hands, which a lot of people do, and holding a phone makes that hard so it's fun to be able to...

[she just coyly exhales her cigarette, thankful that she finally got it.]
