accidental video (backdated like a week!!)

[ The video comes on with a loud crack; you've just been high-velocity butt-dialed, C&C. The whole screen is green and blurry, and hopefully none of you Cityzens have motion sickness because shortly after an undignified squeak, there's a booming roar and that's when the scrambling really begins. ]

Oh my god! Ohh my god, oh my god this was a bad idea! [ A giant green hand comes down out of the middle of nowhere, and Miles scurries away from it over one massive shoulder, and it's pretty clear by now to anyone that would recognize him that the new Spider-Man is wall-crawling uselessly all over The Hulk, trying to avoid being grabbed and Smashed. This (and more comical babbling) goes on for like two minutes before finally: ] Why do I, ah!, always do this?

And why am I talking to mysel-- urk!

[ The video abruptly stops bouncing around when Miles gets caught. Suddenly there's a giant puzzled Hulk face taking up the whole screen, sniffing a couple times and then letting out a big wuff of breath. ]

Uhhh. Hi?

[ Aand the feed cuts! Replies will ICly come in an hour or so after the events in Bruce's log here, so he has time to de-Hulk. ]

But that's just in my world, I guess. There's one here from another world, and he's like, super old, so he obviously didn't... die.

[She lets out a short laugh.] How old is super old to you? Because you look like you're probably just a kid.

--uh, I'm not, uh, just a kid. [ He totally is.... ] Anyway he's like. Thirty. Or forty. Or something. [ CAN'T EVEN TELL THE DIFFERENCE TBH ]

[She laughs again, this time longer and harder.] Dude my best galpal is nearly thirty. Her ex is like...two hundred or something. I honestly have no idea how old exactly. And her granddad? He's like...I don't even know he's ancient. [She's not even kidding there.]

And not a kid huh? You look like you're smaller than me.

Two hundred? Is he like. A Vampire or something?

Well-- uh, well, I'm not. You know what they say, the camera takes off about a foot... [ Pretty convincing, right?? ]

[She flails a bit, trying to grasp for how to explain that.] No. He's Fae. Wolf-shifter. I guess like a werewolf if you want to get technical or whatever. Although I have met a vampire before.

[A slow nod and a not so convinced expression on her face.] Uh, huh. If you say so.

Dude! You know vampires and werewolves? What are you? [ BEAT ] I- uh, I mean... if you are. Something. I guess.

[Kenzi laughs and shakes her head as she wonders for a moment if that's what she sounds like every time she meets a new Fae. Yeah, probably.]

I'm human. Nothing special unlike most of my friends.

You're-- you're not scared? Like, getting involved with a bunch of people with crazy powers and stuff?

[ HE ASSUMES. Because how lame would it be to be a vampire and not get cool powers? ]

Shit yeah I'm scared. I'm always scared. But they're my friends and without me I know they'll get into trouble they can't get out of without my help. They need me as much as I need them.

Plus...I don't think the Fae will just let me go now with all I know. I'm sure they'd like...wipe my mind or some shit/
