This is likely already common knowledge to any who are familiar with him, but at this point I think it would be safe to conclude that Ron Weasley has returned home. To any who were closely acquainted with him, you have my condolences.

[ she winces and reaches offscreen to grab a glass of water, hands over her mouth as she holds a gulp over her front teeth a few moments before swallowing. why did she have to do this now? this was a mistake, she should have known better. ] Excuse me. [ she pulls her purse onto her lap and starts digging around in it for a bottle of painkillers. ]

So, unfortunately, this renders mine the primary income to a household of six, which may necessitate an expansion of that. This season does tend to create a greater need with the increases in consumption that the holidays bring with them, so I may have a fair amount of options that won't use my age as an obstacle. Assuming I can balance my schedule between that and my education...or maybe I'll simply need to drop that one.

[ she finally finds the pills and drops two in her hand. ] Of course, if any of you require an augmentation to your wardrobe for season functions, my services are always available for an appropriate fee.

Furst we need quality ingredients and people who know how to purrpare them correctly! Good china is always a plus but it's not as impurrtant at the beginning.

Also we can't be afuraid to get a little adventurous with the blends! Having constants is good, but it's always more fun to try new things.

And you don't think these are all steps that the other establishments in the City have taken?

I'm pawsitive they tried to take them, but I don't think that they did a very good job of it fur the most part.

You've done it, Nepeta! It may have taken tea snobbery to achieve, but I think you have found the fussiness within you!

[it takes a moment for it to click, but when it does Nepeta starts with a look of dismay that is practically overexaggerated]

No, no! I'm not being fussy, I'm just saying that there are some purrlaces that aren't trying as hard as they could!

There no need to deny it or feel embarrassed, it isn't so terrible a thing to fuss. It simply means that you are deeply invested in the production of your art, in this case being tea.

It's not art, it's tea! And if you don't purrpare it right it doesn't taste as good, so it's common sense and not fussing at all.

Well, I suppose a number of us have never had it prepared to what you consider "right", as we find the alternatives perfectly acceptable and fussfree!

And I'm not stopping anybody from drinking it like that! [she pauses and then shrugs] It's just not as tasty as it could be.

Nepeta, it's alright to fuss over such things. It really just means that you have standards.

But I don't want to be fussy! I'm not good at it. [also she'd feel obligated to fix people's tea habits and damn that is work]

Then I suppose you'll just have to find a better way to balance it! That, or find one of the better tea houses to ease your judgement.

I'm working on the second one! This purrlace is so huge that there's bound to be a few purrlaces that I'll love.

[ like in the twenty-four hours following this post. speaking of which, she pauses for a convenient flare-up of that toothache she had when this post was first made and hasn't really made an appearance in this thread for like a month, trailing off and covering her mouth with both hands as she takes a deep breath. she holds like that for about five seconds before continuing, her fangs having slightly more prominent points than before. ]

As I was saying. If my affinity for movement returns, I can make the exploration much simpler, perhaps even take you to a few establishments I've enjoyed myself.

[Nepeta winces in sympathy because wow that looks painful before grinning again]

I'd really love that! It's always more fun to go expurrloring and have some celebratory tea with a furiend.

[ she almost wants to doublecheck them with her tongue, but is afraid that would just get the pain going again. she's been two weeks without fangs and it has been so weird. ]

It certainly can be, and quick transportation can make it far easier to manage. I only appreciate it more now that I find myself at a lack, having to compensate my schedule for travel is terribly restrictive!

[she giggles] Yeah, it must be pawsitively clawful fur you to have to walk efurywhere. I have no idea how you manage it!

That isn't the problem, that I wouldn't mind. But between that and the other alternatives, I'm having to expend time and money that are needed elsewhere. The time spent traveling could be spent earning more income for us.

Kanaya, you can't spend efury pawsible second trying to earn more money. We're not all going to starve if you don't!

Are you certain of that? I'm not certain of that.

And even if I weren't, it may at least allow some time for myself. That's the major sacrifice I've had to make with this shift.

See, that's a much better reason to be a little sad! But I guess that just means you'll have to get creative with your schedule so you can have some free time.

[she sympathizes, she truly does. Nepeta probably could never keep a schedule if she had to]

I don't have time for that. We have more important things to be doing for now.

What could pawsibly be more impurrtant than time to relax and keep yourself focused?
