We're all meant to do things, life gets in the way though.

If life prevents you, then maybe you weren’t meant to. I think that’s kind of how I think of fate.

What do you think you’re meant to do?

So, two people who are in love and have plans to get married and grow old together. Start a family together. Die together. One of them gets murdered, brutally. Is that destiny? Or is it a random set of events put into motion the moment that someone learned to kill?

If you’re asking me? I’d call it destiny. I don’t think there’s anything anyone does that’s not part of their fate.

You might intend not to do much with your life, but…fate might have a problem with that. It looks to me like it does, since you ended up here.

Life isn't an ideal. I'm talking about how it is, not how it should be. If you live expecting everything's going to be perfect, you're going to live with disappointment.

We're allowed to dream and wish, without that, it's just monotonous.

They should be.

Some things aren’t possible no matter how much you wish for them. Knowing that isn’t about believing in fate or having faith. It’s just something everyone finds out as they grow up.
