This is a time of crisis, after all, and he is a man with a plan. His building and his business were evacuated more or less safely (only the latter was in any way his responsibility) but now the very pressing factor of "where are these people going to live" remains pressing.

This is Norman Osborn. In light of this disaster to which I don't imagine we yet know the cause, I feel it's my duty to offer some shelter to those who may now have to do without. No need to suffer the storm on the streets.

The Norman Osborn Hospital of Psychiatric Evaluation has been outfitted to accommodate guests; the rooms [ "rooms" ] have fresh bedding and extra blankets, the library, cafeteria, and recreation areas will be open past usual hours, and there is plenty of food. It's impossible to know what the future will bring, but temporary solutions must come before the permanent in a crisis.

In the meantime, let's try to stay alive, shall we.

However you inflect it, we can only do what anyone does in a disaster: rally and survive. Until we know how to put an end to it, that is.

The day all the sciences become interchangeable is the day the world starts falling apart even faster than it is now. And I'll say that if I was an astrophysicist there still wouldn't be a way for me to simply reverse what's happening out there -- we need the diagnosis and the cure.

Yeah, and apparently nobody's offering up their expertise, so I have to guess that we're short on ideas.

Either that, or they're so busy working that they're going to come in last-minute with a solution, and we'll all be grateful of the asshole.

The ideas we need now are about enduring, because there's no one left to fix a problem if they all get themselves killed. For all we know it may stop on its own, but the priority must be first getting ourselves to safety before we can comfortably strategize further.

Getting the fuck out of dodge and getting everyone together to fix this later is about the best plan we have right now.

At least then everyone is safe, for the moment. At least right now, it's centered on the City.

Other than what we see right now, no. It could go to shit easily enough, but right now, we know where everything is focused.

Small miracles, at least for the rest of the damn planet.

Not all chaos has to be visible. Chemical reactions might very well be devastating other parts of the planet above or below the ground, as far as we could be privy to witnessing.

Since it's the City it probably began here. But damage like this has implications beyond the confines of one city.
