Bloody hell what am I doing? Alright I'd better get this over with.

[There's the sound of someone clearing their throat and then a defeated sigh.]

Everyone I need to talk to you about one of our new arrivals. His name is Alucard and he's uh, my Master. I know he doesn't seem like the most normal of people and if he's already scared some of you I'm sorry, but he just likes spooking people that's all. He didn't really deal with people outside of our work back home so he did that a lot.

Now if he um...look if you have a problem with him can you at least contact me first and I'll try to fix it, alright? Also please, please don't get into a confrontation with him. He's not going to back down and he takes these things very seriously and it doesn't end well so just don't.

I could be wrong, it may in fact be ashen! But expressed in such a general direction paints it in a pacifying light than a mediating one.

Yes, I am and so is my Master, but um we don't exactly um spread like you've probably read about. I mean it's not quite as simple as biting someone at least for vampires like me. Not that that matters here because we only drink donated blood.

That does seem to be the accepted method through which to manage the resulting cravings.

But, uh, have you ever...has the impulse ever arisen for you to...acquire it by following the more traditional method? Perhaps when you were at a lack?

Um no not really. I couldn't ever do something like that.

No, Teraza I think, or something like that. She had a friend that needed blood and I tried to help out, but she I don't know lost it. She thought I wanted to arrest them both.

I wasn't aware that she'd made such an inquiry! ...Though I suppose it would explain where she learned to acquire the supply she'd provided around that time.

Good, she got you the blood. It's from the clinic just so you know and I think your friend didn't mean anything by all the questions. She was just worried about you.

Well, the purpose of the relationship is to keep each other properly pacified. Having me prey upon innocents simply wouldn't do from her perspective.

It's largely that reasoning that's inspired her to eschew her truancy and instead accompany me to my classes each day.

Well if it keeps you both in classes and not bitting anyone then I guess that's a good thing.

As long as I'm not expected to go thirsty, at least. Though it would be more satisfying if she would actually participate in the classes.
