[and of course it's not about his job at all. Because he gets that message and stares at the comm and then turns away to the window for a couple minutes before trying to figure out how to answer it. Getting his chill on after totally trashing his shit for everyone to see.

Then in a flurry of activity he pounces his comm, turns it on and switches to voice, just to make sure he's not giving too much away.]
