seeyourface.livejournal.com[A mature-looking, long-haired woman pans the camera around her surroundings silently; it's the Porter room, a common enough sight for a newcomer. She then turns the camera to her face, expression neutral with a touch of curiosity. Her voice is very deep and womanly, and she speaks with slight amusement in her tone.]
From someone on the wrong side of destiny, to someone on what sounds like it at least ought to be the right side, hmm? Ah, the irony is indeed not lost on me.
[She tilts the camera so it is high above her head for a moment, then sets it out at arms' length in front of her.]
I suppose now is as good a time as any, though. If I've been kidnapped to... America, I'd have to say? Well, I at least have to thank you for doing it after my Paris shoot was over with.
But I suppose it is something of an odd reason to kidnap someone, isn't it?
[The camera turns on its side, then upside-down, then backwards, and eventually right-side up again as Misty examines the device at every angle.]
And this... what a strange little device. I've never seen one quite like this before. Most of the ones in Neo Domino City are holographic projections, and the keyboard is motion sensitive rather than actually pressing physical keys with your fingers. But I suppose it suffices. It's not quite archaic, but it looks much different from Neo Domino's technology.
I must admit, though, I'm a bit... lost on all this. I suppose you originally wanted someone who could help you with such a "heroic" thing, but I'm afraid I may not be the person you're looking for. I've got nothing particularly special about me anymore, really...
[She pauses, in what almost sounds like a hesitation to say more, then smiles a little.]
...Ah, well. Perhaps if I'm not being held hostage for ransom, a little vacation could be interesting, couldn't it? I feel a bit bad for my manager, but perhaps we can consider it a test of his patience, heh.
