…Wherever I’m gone to anyway. Where is this place? It looks kinda like Azure City but less blue and less hobgoblins and not really like Azure City at all. I just remember popping in. Did I get tela-porked? I don’t remember doing that. Not that I can do stuff like that! I don’t know magic or anything!


OH! Is this where O-Chul went? I mean, I popped out and popped in here and O-Chul popped out so maybe he popped to this place. I hope so. Well, except this city place looks scary. If it’s scary maybe he should’ve popped somewhere else. [There’s a short pause as he considers this.]

[ There's an audible clatter, and the camera clicks on to show the ceiling of the Metropolitan Museum of Art (for those of you familiar). Off-screen there is the sound of lots of feet, a crash, yells.

The camera jostles, but it's not being picked up. In fact, it's sitting up, because the feed is recording out of Equius's communicator sunglasses and he was the one on the ground. Once he's changed position it's obvious that several statues in the museum have been smashed to pieces, and there is not one but several Aradias in view, all of them pointedly looking away from each other. Equius speaks: ]

[One minute, Erin was exiting her office building, heading for her car at the end of the day, the next moment she's standing on a glowing platform, utterly confused. After being welcomed to the city, getting her tags, communicator, and a pamphlet, she heads outside, pulling her phone from her purse to see she has no signal.

So she turns to the pamphlet for answers. Unfortunately, it's all a bit much to take in, and she focuses on the communicator instead. After uncertainly hitting buttons for a moment, she holds it up to her ear.]

Um, hi? I don't know if anyone can hear me, but I was in Scranton a minute ago and now I'm... not. Unless Scranton's built some really nice skyscrapers recently. Maybe on the south side; I don't drive through there much.

But am I really stuck here? I think I've been confused for someone else. I'm not a Hero. I work in an office! Can whoever's in charge just send be back now, please?

[Then, in a softer tone, more to herself, she adds,]

Kelly's gonna kill me if I don't show up to Poor Richard's tonight.

This might seem like something of a ..jumbled metaphor, but, bear with me if you can.

Have you ever been missing something you didn't know was missing? Until you went looking for it, but it was there all along? It's. [He sounds conflicted.] Well. It's relieving, in a way. But also--not. As if it could vanish at any given moment, and if it went out this time-- If it gets lost again, and doesn't come back.

Well.

[There's a long pause, as if he's cut the feed. But then suddenly, it flickers back on.]

I would also like to announce the creation of the Scrapbooking Club, housed at the Pie Hole. Meetings will be each Tuesday evening, and please keep the glitter to a minimum.

Direct all questions to Shirley or Zatanna. [You can bet he won't be around Tuesday's.... or at least be very scarce]

As an afterthought, though--admittedly--it should have been a forethought. Does anyone know about the blood donations or, how great the need is within the City? [lol he's trying to be discreet]

During a recent audit of crime rates within the city, I noticed an anomaly that bears further examination. A series of missing persons reports were filed in the wake of the recent riots, and after a thorough search of hospital and morgue records, I have found no evidence that the individuals were hospitalized or murdered.

While a modest increase in disappearances is normal after a tragedy, these numbers are not within historical statistical norms.

A copy of the report in question along with my analysis has been attached to this transmission, but here are the early trends I noted.

* The initial reports were taken at different stations by different officers and the aftermath of the riots has delayed the investigation of a high number of these cases. As such, the files are incomplete in places.
* All those kidnapped were natives, no imPort disappearances fell into the group.
* The kidnappings appear to have been done by professionals, although once can't rule out gang or cult activity at this time. Again, the gangs and disaffected citizens roaming the City at this time has made the issue unclear.
* There are no traits or affiliations that connect all the victims, although I did note that a few were employees of Rossum, Inc. Other commonalities have been included in my report in order of statistical relevance.

I will forward more information as it becomes available.

For everyone who knew him, it looks like Impulse has been Ported out.

[He was kinda... waiting to see if he'd come back before posting about it, but well. Time to face facts.]

I was wondering if we should maybe look into more... actively recruiting teen heroes here, again. There are still a fair number of teenagers who get new powers when they arrive that could use help training with them, or who could just benefit from learning how to work in a team. But I thought I'd ask for opinions before opening the doors, so to speak.

I did offer Wiccan and Hulkling a place to stay while the rest of their team was gone, but with Hawkeye and Speed back, it doesn't look like that's going to be an issue for them after all.
