[The video is a complete wreck at first--static, visual tearing, audio distortion so severe the voice coming from Alex's occasionally visible moving lips is just an annoying buzz--then the video shifts and corrects itself for the most part. The audio is still a little off, and there's some color bleeding.
Now that the video has stabilized enough, it's possible to see that Alex is sitting in what looks like a not-very-reputable hotel. He's wearing a windbreaker, which he keeps pulling more tightly around himself as he talks.
He's rehearsed every movement, every word, every lie like he's been preparing for a role.]

Sometimes I forget things. Not generally a few years. It'd just be nice to know if this is, you know...
[He looks back at the camera, his brow knit and his eyes a little wider; the expression he practiced in the mirror for nearly an hour before.]
Normal. [He clears his throat, then coughs. The cough causes a spike in audio distortion.]
Right. I guess I should mention m-- [A brief distortion twists the video, and the audio goes out for a moment.] --ame's Alex Kr--
[The video flickers and ends.]
