Hello, hello. Ron Weasley, here.

Please note that on the thirty-first of July, I will be hosting a celebration at the Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes shop. This is to promote our new line of products, the result of much hard work and dangerous experimentation. There will be free food and drinks, including a birthday cake in honor of the unfortunately-absent Harry Potter.

Harry, to the surprise of nobody, is very popular around these parts. Why not draw a crowd in with that fact, right? Right.

Anyhow! I expect all of you good-natured folks out there to attend. Any upstarts and trouble-makers will be dealt with accordingly, just so you're aware. The address is [sssssomewhere].

Again. July 31st. That's from 9am-4pm. Be there, or you're a total weenie.

Quick!

What is your favorite thing to taste?

Conversely, what is your least favorite?

I would ask, you know, 'what is your favorite food,' but I'm not specifically talking about foods. I'm sure you know what plenty of things that aren't food taste like. That said, I'm willing to bet that most people's favorite tastes are food, whereas a good deal of least favorite would not be food. But that's neither here nor there.

I need to know for very important reasons.

[ This is Ron Weasley in a library, looking none too pleased. He's got a few books stacked beside him, one open before him, but this is getting him nowhere. ]

While we're on the subject of strange plants... [ He holds up the book he's currently looking at. An illustration shows a plant with a large root, labeled Mandragora officinarum. ] Some of the qualities I'm looking for are noted as superstitions related to the history of this plant, but what I'm actually looking for is the truth behind that. I'm just not sure if that exists here.

Anybody wanna wax theoretical about how magic works here? How d'you, say, find yourself some terrible beasties that maybe shouldn't exist? In my case, how do you find the magical breed of a particular plant?

Anybody? Help a wizard out?

Now that I've had enough baking and being festive to last me another year... Let's curb the conversation away from all this holiday mess, shall we? So, my dear general public...

There's no Quidditch here, you know. Recommend some Muggle sports to me.

I've been led to believe that football's the best there is, but I'm open to persuasion on the matter.

[ The signal clicks on, and there's a long moment of silence before some muttering. Somewhere on the other side of this thing, there's a British man complaining about 'bloody mobiles' and 'oh, wait, is it working now?'. And then another pause. ]

Hello?

Helloooo? Anybody there?

[ Yet another pause. He has the worst phone etiquette ever. ]

Now, see..! I was in the middle of something pretty important! I'm not sure what this is, but somebody better bloody answer me and give me an explanation. I can't-- I can't get away from here, and that's not right. That's not normal.

I'm... I've got to be at King's Cross. In London. Preferably immediately, and...

And I'm not actually talking to anybody. Right.

[ There's a mix between a sigh and a grumble. The feed clicks off as he frustratedly smashes all the buttons. ]
