I know this is the worst time possible for this, but I need to go help someone outside the city and it can't wait, I'm sorry. I'll try to explain when I get back. Please just trust me, this is important. I wish I could say more, but I can't. I'm sorry.

First, the Major is dead. I can confirm that for a fact.

I know everyone is talking about how the natives are going to react to this, but we need to remind them we lost people too. Good people, like Officer Weinberg and Lieutenant Lestrade. Not that it matters that they were Imports. They were cops first, to me and their fellow officers. We lost them and fifteen other officers. They were doing their job, helping cover the evacuations. Because of them we were able to save a lot of people and keep the casualties down.

They didn't care about Imports versus Natives, or any of the other politics, at least not when they were on the job. They just wanted to protect everyone in this city, like everyone else on the force.

Everyone I need to talk to you about one of our new arrivals. His name is Alucard and he's uh, my Master. I know he doesn't seem like the most normal of people and if he's already scared some of you I'm sorry, but he just likes spooking people that's all. He didn't really deal with people outside of our work back home so he did that a lot.

Now if he um...look if you have a problem with him can you at least contact me first and I'll try to fix it, alright? Also please, please don't get into a confrontation with him. He's not going to back down and he takes these things very seriously and it doesn't end well so just don't.

I'm taking over the blood bank case. I know it has to be vampires and I have the best chance of stopping them. I also don't want any of you getting hurt so if you even think you've spotted them call for backup and wait. Don't take them on all by yourself.

Garrus, I'd like to go to the range this weekend if we can. I'm going to be busy with this case, but you weren't here the last time we covered vampires so I need to go over all of that with you. If any of you want to go over it again I'll do that too.

If any of you have any information on the murder at the blood bank, or any killings like it I need to hear about it. These freaks have to have been getting their blood from somewhere so if you can find where then I can find them and stop this before it gets any worse.

Sir, I know this is a bit short notice, but I'd like to request a day off next week. The seventh specifically. It's nothing major, but it is sort of important to me so if you could let me go for that day I'd really appreciate it.

Look, I'm really sorry to have to ask this as I know you just got here and well you didn't sound that interested in working for the police again, but we need your help. We have forensics experts, but no one specializing in blood spatter and with the recent murder that's exactly what we need. You wouldn't be joining the department it would be a one time contract, though if you did want to stay and help more we would be grateful.

If you say no I'll understand, but please think about it and realize you could help a lot of people here.

Now, I wasn't trying to be a snoop, but the other day I was helping Captain Bauer with the files and I sort of...ended up flipping through his file. Apparently his birthday is in just couple of days, on the 18th. I have no idea why he wouldn't tell any of us about it. I guess he just wanted to keep it quiet with all that's been going on lately.

I know the Captain isn't one for parties much, but I still think we should do something for him. Does anyone want to help me throw a small surprise party for him? With all the bad news lately I think we could all do with something pleasant for a change.

Sir, the Sergeant's exam is coming up next week and well, um I wanted to know if I could have your permission to take it. I'll have to study, but I promise it won't interfere with my duties. So can I take the exam, sir?

We had another one of those gun runners turn himself in. Detective Bauer arrested him, and then brought me in to help with the interrogation. He confirmed the previous information we had about their system of drops, and pick ups. He also gave us the name of the guy next up in the chain from him. One Max Vince aka Dean Vince, and Cliff Vince. Max's record is clean, but he does have a firearms permit. Under Cliff though he has a record. Mostly minor infractions, petty theft, and that sort of thing. Most of it juvenile, and usually with our suspect as an accomplice. Apparently they also used to share a residence which he provided us the address to. Hopefully  something was left behind that will tell us where Max went, or who he's working for now.

The bad news is they're supposed to be bringing in heavier weapons than they have before, and soon. The suspect didn't know anything else about the drop, just that it was happening.

He also couldn't give us any details about the vigilante that made him turn himself in, except that his eyes were blue, and he wore some sort of red scarf, or tie. Whoever they are, they did something to his mind to make him confess. I don't know what though, some kind of hypnotism maybe? Whatever it was it made him scared to death of them. Maybe someone who knows more about this kind of thing could look at him, and tell us more?

I finally found an airfield where I can shoot the Harkonnen. It's been abandoned for a long time so there shouldn't be anyone nearby. Also it's not too far so there should be plenty of time to get there, and back before sunrise. Do any of you want to go with me? We can meet  tomorrow evening at Police Headquarters, and then go to the airfield from there.

Sir, I've searched through the city, and I can't find any trace of Doctor Horrible. No records, or anything.  I'm sorry. I might have a lead on Dr.Drakken though. I'm going to check it out tomorrow. Hopefully that will turn up something.

What the bloody 'ell happened? I was just at HQ, and now I'm here. I really need to get back. [sounds of a car nearly missing her and the driver yelling.] Hey! Watch it! Not my fault you people drive on the wrong side of the road. At least I know I'm in America would anyone mind telling me where exactly? Is there a British embassy maybe? Wait I don't have my passport. Damn it! Look I need to find somewhere to stay right now. It's dark out, but I really need somewhere to stay before the sun comes up. I...um...I have a skin condition, and it would be very bad for me to be in direct sunlight.
