[After a few moments of looking around at his new surroundings, he has to finally decide that this probably isn't somewhere he knows. But maybe. There was a strange sense of deja vu. Perhaps that's what kept him so calm. But it was more likely just because he didn't really 'freak out' for much.]

Okay... That was a new experience for me.

I guess a good place to start is where am I? [If someone was listening well enough, they might hear a hint of worry in his voice.]

How far is it from Nagasaki, and how did I end up here? I don't seem to recall being brought anywhere...

16th Memo- Video

[Callie is wearing an apron and a sunhat, and a pair of gardening gloves and sheers. Blood is on the apron. She's looking particularly relaxed and pleased- a nice change from her last post. Clearly someone has been getting some. She sighs, taking the hat off and fanning herself.]

Nothing like spending an afternoon with some old fashioned gardening~ Sanji, if you get this, your plants are... gorgeous. I mean, really, they have one hell of an appetite, but they're really sweet~

Also- curious if anyone is a practiced metal smith or know a good place in town to get some serious weaponry. No real particular reason. I'm a collector and it's sort of a hobby of mine. All this gardening makes me miss home a little. I think it's time to update a few things, and feel more at home here. No reason to think of somewhere else when I'm here, right?

Oh, and then there's the rent issue. I've been able to maintain my place thanks to the huge raise I got with my promotion, but now I got to bite the bullet and get a roommate again. Any takers?

[ The video opens with Tonks leaving her flat at the MAC. She has it on and recording before leaving. The feed wobbles as she turns around to lock the door before heading down the hallway. Her hair is lavender today. ]

I'm not sure that I quite get the concept of a labor day or why certain businesses get to have the day off but not all. And what does it have to do with sales? I must've seen at least a hundred different advertisements. It seems a bit contrary to me. Hmm, anyway.

I think I prefer the straightforward holidays like Christmas and Halloween. I love Halloween.

What about you lot out there that's listening in, talk to me please. D'you have a favorite holiday?

[If you guessed this post was going to involve Jack in an anonymous apartment, you're wrong! He is, in fact, at the TARDIS house, poking around with a computer. After a moment or two, he glances up at the comm, which is balanced on top of said computer.]

So, City. There are a few things I consider myself to be rather good at. Before you say the two obvious things that come to mind; I think I should add two more. Drinking, and dancing. This City has some great places for dancing, I already know that. It's also got some great bars.

But I haven't seen an import-friendly bar, owned by an import. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think we could use one. What I want to know is, would any of you lot be interested in it? It's a pretty tempting idea. Trust me, I know how to make a decent martini.

[Joker is sitting in an armchair somewhere. Tied up, across from him, is a man in a suit. The communicator is set up to show all of this. Clearly, the clown enjoys an audience.]

It's just not fair. I finally think I find the guy and it just ends up being part of the flock!

[The man mumbles frantically into his gag. Joker tilts his head, an expression of extreme sadness crossing his face.]

...It makes me feel lonely, Doc. Unappreciated. You think the Grinning Gizmo coulda brought him to me, don't you?

[Again, the man mumbles loudly. Joker bows his head forward with a sigh.]

Don't mumble, Doc, it's rude.

[He lifts his chin.]

But to answer your question...Without him, crime has no punchline. With no punchline there's no joke! What's the point?

[The man starts screaming into his gag and Joker smiles fondly.]

That's true. Even with dimensions between us, we won't be separated for long. He'll find me. He always does. I just have to rest a bit. I have to be ready when he gets here! You are good, Doc!

[Joker looks into the communicator now as the captured therapist keeps writhing. This reveals the bruises around his face and collar bone.]

It's good to talk.

So, what do you think, Ersatz New York? Where does a clown go around here for a bit of R and R? Hm?

[The therapist's struggles tip his chair over with a loud crash. Joker's smile widens.]

For those of you just joining us, I had the TV on for about five minutes and I'm not happy to report your channels are all out of order. I mean really. Who do I see about getting Me-TV Network? {It's not a question of want, I need it, all my favorite DVDs are back home!}

Also, I was really disappointed that Bud Lite exists in this reality, too.

Then I thought, there's gotta be an upside to this dimension. Just have to find it, that's all.

So help me out. Anybody like playing games? What's your favorite?

Terrible terrible news!

I was at the pool earlier for a daily swim, and surfprisingly, I learned that pools were ofishally CLOSING after this weekend!!!!

Apparently a lot of humans don't swim after this month. But I think it'd be EXCITING to close pool season off with a PARTY! A pool party! It'll be a great opportunaty to swim in the sun before it's too late.

If anyone is GREAT at...

[She pauses, and reads from her cookbook] "bar-becue", you really otter come and help out. But I'll be EXCITED to sea you anyways!

[In the background there are sounds of a supermarket. Over the intercom someone is calling for a cleanup on isle 9 and there's the customary beeping of a check out. Pietro sighs, and his voice sounds tired, and, if possible, more irritable than normal.]

There are times at which I question the benefits of my powers. For while I am more easily able to locate things, and any commute is extremely manageable, the incompetence of a supermarket cashier, or the obese woman who cannot find her coupon for cat food seems all the more troubling.

[He sighs again, and there might be a child crying somewhere in his general proximity.]

My wife's abilities also have a certain drawback. Indeed, I wonder every mutant ability has some sort of hidden curse to it. Something that makes you, at times, question the merits.

How depressing a tangent I'm on.

[He snorts, and his tone abruptly turns almost pleading.]

Angie-- Darling-- Would you kindly set the DVR? I don't know that I'll make it home in time for Project Runway, and I'd rather not like to miss it.
