Well, this was totally unexpected… And it’s one heck of a sitch. I mean, I have dimension hopped once or twice, when Drakken got us all stuck in TV Land, but this is probably the first time I’ve ever just been dumped into one without warning. By the way - I've been told that I’m supposed to be a hero here, and I mean, I can handle that, that’s no big. I do it all the time back home, and if somebody here needs my help for a bit, I'm glad to offer it! But… my world sort of needs me, you know?

But, really, Drakken was on one of his ‘conquer the world’ trips again, plus I have a paper due tomorrow. So, I would totally appreciate it if someone could just point me to the way out. Please and thank you!

[The barking continues; underneath it are faint hints of metal clashing together as something moves into the fence. Shortly afterwards, the barking changes to loud growls--and with an abrupt, pained yelp, silence.]

If anyone tracks the house down and goes to the scene later today, there's a pair of bloodied combat boots with the feet still in them, carelessly dropped to the ground by the dog's body; Michael has been long gone by the time he posts this. If not, the elderly woman at 239 Curtis will be admitted to the hospital for cardiac arrest later this evening when she discovers the setup herself, and the EMTs will be reporting their find to the police department.]

[Various settings flicker on and off on the comm.  A brief audio bit that sounds like someone fumbling around with the controls, experimenting and testing.  Video flicks on for a few moments, long enough to catch a glimpse of the man holding the comm.  He’s big, it’s easy to tell even from the video feed, built like a tank with a mean, scarred face that’s made more disturbing by the drying blood and huge bruises covering the man’s face.  Someone’s been working this guy over but good.]

[When he seems satisfied he has the comm under control, he gives a small satisfied sort of smile that doesn’t do much at making him look approachable.  When he speaks, his voice is low and rough.]

There now.  Nice of whoever’s in charge to hand out these things.  Makes things a bit easier for getting’ questions answered.

What’s all this talk about heroes?  Who’s runnin’ this operation?

Five months already? My, my. I didn't even realize it had happened until just now, but, well--time flies when you're having fun.

If the archives of this system are accurate, the first of us arrived on the ninth of October. I would ask what you planned to do on the anniversary, but really, I'd rather not ruin the surprise. I imagine things will become a little more interesting once the date comes around.
